Why Nephrologists and Dialysis Centers Choose B&B Medical Group for Vascular Referrals

Why Nephrologists and Dialysis Centers Choose B&B Medical Group for Vascular Referrals

A Vascular Partner Built for the Dialysis Community

When a dialysis patient presents with a clotted fistula on a Friday afternoon or a PAD patient needs urgent evaluation before limb compromise progresses, the referring provider needs a vascular center that can move quickly — without the overhead and delays of a hospital-based program.

That’s the gap B&B Medical Group was designed to fill. Located in Bellflower and serving the greater Los Angeles area, our outpatient vascular surgery center specializes in the procedures nephrologists, dialysis center staff, and primary care providers refer for most often: dialysis access management, PAD treatment, fistula creation, and cardiac clearance.

Same-Week Scheduling for Urgent Cases

Dialysis access dysfunction doesn’t wait for a two-week scheduling queue. When a patient’s AV fistula or graft isn’t flowing properly, every missed dialysis session compounds the clinical risk.

Our scheduling team prioritizes urgent referrals. Most dialysis access and PAD patients are seen within the same week of referral, with same-day availability for emergent cases. We work directly with dialysis center coordinators to minimize disruption to the patient’s treatment schedule.

Outpatient Procedures, Minimal Disruption

All of our vascular interventions are performed in our fully equipped outpatient surgical center. For dialysis patients, this means a thrombectomy or angioplasty can be completed and the patient returned to their dialysis chair — often on the same day or the next scheduled session.

Our procedural capabilities include angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy, AV fistula creation, PD catheter insertion, central venous catheter removal, and PAD interventions including atherectomy and limb salvage procedures.

Clinical Communication You Can Count On

We understand that referring a patient means trusting another team with your patient’s care. That’s why we emphasize clinical communication at every step. Referring providers receive procedure reports and follow-up summaries. Our goal is coordination, not competition — your patients stay your patients.

A Team of Subspecialists Under One Roof

Our multidisciplinary team includes board-certified vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, an interventional nephrologist, and a cardiologist. This breadth of expertise means we can handle the full spectrum of vascular cases without sending patients elsewhere for secondary consultations.

Dr. Anthony Becker leads the center as Medical Director and interventional radiologist. The surgical team includes Dr. Ahmad Hussain, Dr. Mark Archie, Dr. Meena Archie, Dr. Mohammad Jaber, and Dr. Nina Bowens. Dr. Sabeen Dhand brings specialized limb salvage expertise, and Dr. Harry Balian handles interventional cardiology and cardiac clearance.

Broad Insurance Coverage, Verified Before the Visit

We accept most major insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, and Cigna, along with many others. Our team verifies insurance coverage before the appointment so there are no surprises for you or your patient. A complete payer list is available for download.
