Dr. Sabeen Dhand is a board-certified interventional radiologist with experience in all types of endovascular work. His main focus and passion is the treatment of lower extremity arterial disease, specifically, chronic limb threatening ischemia (CLTI) in order to aid in limb salvage (we can save a patients leg) for diabetic patients (i.e. patient’s with a poorly healing wound or gangrene).
Training
Dr. Sabeen Dhand is a highly specialized Interventional Radiologist whose medical training is characterized by a long-term affiliation with Northwestern University. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology and Biochemistry at Northwestern’s Evanston campus before earning his Doctor of Medicine from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2009. Following a transitional year internship at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, he returned to Northwestern to complete a four-year residency in Diagnostic Radiology, followed by a dedicated fellowship in Interventional Radiology, which he concluded in 2015.
In addition to his formal academic path, Dr. Dhand is board-certified in both Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology. His extensive training background has been further enriched by his roles as an educator and clinical investigator, particularly in complex vascular care. He currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he continues to contribute to the academic and clinical training of the next generation of radiologists.
