Dr. Bowens completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. She trained in general surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she also served as Chair of the Resident Executive Committee. She then pursued a vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where she honed her expertise in advanced vascular interventions. Her specialized training includes minimally invasive endovascular procedures, aortic and peripheral vascular repair, dialysis access, and vascular trauma management.
