Patients who need endovascular procedures on the lower extremities must first obtain cardiac clearance. Dr. Balian’s alliance with B&B Medical Group removes traditional bottlenecks by:
- Arranging cardiac clearance through affiliated cardiologists and imaging centers—tests are obtained promptly, though not same-day.
- Submitting all endovascular intervention requests to insurers immediately after clearance is complete; scheduling occurs as soon as authorization is granted.

- Initial consultation and vascular exam.
- Non-invasive PAD screening (ABI, arterial duplex) scheduled with affiliated imaging centers.
- Cardiac clearance arranged with affiliated cardiologists; timing depends on clinical urgency and insurer requirements.
- When endovascular intervention is indicated, authorization requests are submitted the same day clearance is finalized.
- Scheduling the Procedure
Lower-extremity endovascular procedures are booked as soon as insurance authorization is received. Dialysis-access interventions can often be performed same-day or next-day. - Coordinated Follow-Up
Post-procedure visits are arranged according to medical necessity and physician judgment, not a fixed calendar. Long-term risk-factor management is co-managed with B&B Medical Group.
